A typical investor in our fund is someone that wants a proactive investment that has the potential to make money in any market environment. We have had investors come to us that have lost anywhere from $30,000 to $30,000,000 with major investment banking firms. We can't guarantee to make all your money back but we can provide you with professional fund management.
What is Laureate's approach to professional trading?
Laureate's approach to professional trading includes the following elements:
- Disciplined Money Management. Laureate generally allocates between 0.5% to 1.0% of portfolio equity to the initial entry of any single market position with a maximum risk of 1.5% to
2.0% from initial risk.
- Balanced Risk. Laureate will allocate each series capital from among more than 100 markets around the world 24 hours a day. Among the factors considered to determine the portfolio mix
are market volatility, liquidity, and trending characteristics.
- Ongoing Capital Management. When our proprietary risk/reward indicators reach predetermined levels, we may increase or decrease commitments in certain markets in an attempt to
reduce performance volatility.
- Multiple Systems. While laureate's approach is to identify emerging trends and follow them to conclusion, no one system is correct all of the time. Laureate utilises a multi-system
strategy on behalf of each series that divides capital among different markets in an attempt to allocate risk and increase profitability by correctly identifying and capitalising on trending
markets.
What is the investor's liability?
Investor's liability is limited to the amount of their investment in each series. Investors will not be required to contribute additional capital to each series.
